The Intercultural Communication Kit assists teachers to create inclusive classrooms in which learners feel respected and safe. Students are empowered to reflect, ask questions, develop a sense of empathy and engage with others.

The Intercultural Communication Kit is organised around eight essential skills which will enable students to contribute to and thrive in a culturally rich and diverse environment. The eight skills - prepares, observes, compares, reflects, inquires, respects, empathises and engages - provide the framework for all the components of the Kit.
